Our History

The first brand in our group was originally established in 1978 by a Chartered Civil Engineer in the middle of an economic downturn. 

That founder at aged 28, having never worked in recruitment before established a successful niche recruitment company in the built environment based on the values of trust, fairness and hard work.

He went onto become one of the most successful entrepreneurs and investors in the UK recruitment sector. By 2002 he decided to set up his own investment company to give others a chance to realise their dreams and create their own brands.

In 2011 he backed his youngest entrepreneur, who at age 26 grew the fastest growing  business in that group from scratch, later merging it with another brand, becoming its CEO and selling it to a large public listed business in 2017.

After serving 5 years in the corporate world he 'came home' and acquired his mentors first ever recruitment business, bringing things full circle and formed the KTS Group to build on that very same foundation, vowing to always stay true to our core values of trust, fairness and hard work. 

Today we aim to grow wider across the built environment, expand into other sectors and across oceans, but never forgetting our roots and values, and expanding the KTS Group as far and wide as we can.
